With knowledge of the weaving craft passed down intergenerationally, Indian weavers are renowned for their rare skill and technical precision. Each region has its own unique varieties of shawls and scarves, shaped by local history and culture.

Your beautiful linen scarf was woven in the state of Punjab, whose weaving practices span centuries. While weaving technologies have evolved with the times, the rich history of the craft is still reflected in this special item. The scarf’s graded color effect was achieved by pot-dyeing the fabric by hand, and the delicate silver detailing was added using foil screen-printing.
